On September 30, volunteers of Moonlight International Foundation set off with three vans of new winter coats, shoes, snow boots and socks for Colchester Food Bank in Truro, Nova Scotia. This six-hour round trip journey across the Confederation Bridge marked another milestone to the expansion of the Foundation’s “Warm Coat, Warm Heart” project.
Between 2012 and 2013, Moonlight International Foundation has donated a total of 2100 winter coats and 1026 pairs of snow boots to food banks across the Island. This year, the Foundation has prepared 1526 coats, 1638 pairs of boots and 2474 pairs of socks for families in need. (more…)
